KOIZUMISEIMA CO., LTD. began as a jute spinning business in 1890.

Thinking back to the days when founder Shinsuke Koizumi started a jute spinning mill in Togahama, Nada-ku, Kobe, with investments from Samuel Samuel & Co. of England and Koizumi Yoten, we can picture how the company faced the social issues of the time through the great challenge of "entrepreneurship". The spirit of founder Shinsuke Koizumi to take on social challenges is what makes up the essence of KOIZUMISEIMA CO., LTD., which has overcome major social upheavals such as wars, oil crises and earthquakes.

Starting with jute spinning, the company is now also involved in the textile business, including synthetic fibers, and the blow molding business. Our businesses are continuing to expand and evolve in a wide range of fields, including transportation and packaging, agriculture, civil engineering and greening. Although none of the materials in any of these areas play a central role in society, they have been planned and developed in response to the challenges of the time.

Japan continues to face challenges such as a declining birthrate, aging population, aging social infrastructure and low food self-sufficiency. KOIZUMISEIMA CO., LTD. has responded to these social issues with materials that enable production and maintenance with less labor and materials that promote higher crop yields. We are not a high-tech company that makes IOT or precision equipment, but we are proud to be a company that can contribute to society through the planning and development of materials that can provide great benefits with a little ingenuity. We will address issues in regions outside of Japan with our accumulated knowhow and materials that can serve as solutions.

So, under the slogan "One Step Forward!" we will take a step forward to serve our business partners, shareholders, and the local community. We believe that by taking one step at a time, we can improve our products and services, and that the accumulation of these steps will make society a better place.

We will continue to evolve step by step, and devote ourselves to becoming a 200-year company as well as an "irreplaceable company".
