Established as Togahama Jute Company Ltd. (now KOIZUMISEIMA CO., LTD.).

Togahama Jute Company Ltd. was established as a joint venture between Samuel Samuel & Co. of the United Kingdom and Koizumi Itoten in Kyoto, and Japan's first jute spinning factory was constructed in Togahama Village, Ubara-gun, Hyogo Prefecture where the production of jute bags is started.

The plant operation begins, with 180 tons of jute bags produced in the first year.

KOIZUMISEIMA CO., LTD. is established.

As the export market to Asia expanded and funds accumulated, the company was reorganized as a joint stock company on August 27, and KOIZUMISEIMA CO., LTD. is established with capital of 3 million yen.

Construction of the No. 2 Plant is completed.

Since women were prohibited from working late at night, a plant was added on the premises. It was an unusually high-rise plant for a textile factory, with four floors above ground and one floor below ground, totaling 19,834 square meters. At this time, raw materials were unloaded at a pier built on the beach.

KOIZUMISEIMA CO., LTD.'s Tokyo office warehouse is opened.

Reconstruction after the war

After making a request to GHQ to obtain jute as a raw material, thanks to the efforts of Ms. Montgomery, the officer in charge of hemp, jute materials arrived at Kobe Port on the ship "Roxanne" for the first time in seven years.

Construction of the No. 3 Plant is completed.

Production of base fabric for tufted carpets developed in the United States begins.

Izumi Asa Kogyo Co., Ltd. (currently KOIZUMISEIMA CO., LTD Osaka Plant) established in Kishiwada-shi, Osaka.

KOIZUMISEIMA CO., LTD. begins approach to chemical products (polyethylene and polypropylene) in addition to jute.

In 1963, the brand name was changed to "Baron" to lay the foundation for new applications and new product development.
